 FAQs

  • Prescription refills can be requested through our online refill form or by contacting the clinic. Please note that refills are only available for medications previously prescribed by our veterinarians and may require a current doctor–patient relationship. Processing times vary, so we recommend submitting requests in advance when possible.

  • Appointment availability varies based on the type of visit and current demand. We encourage scheduling routine care in advance whenever possible. If you’re unsure what type of appointment your pet needs, our team is happy to help guide you.

  • Yes. We understand that some pets experience anxiety or stress in new environments. Please let us know ahead of time so we can make appropriate accommodations and help ensure a safe, comfortable visit for everyone.

  • No. We do not keep credit cards on file. Payment is collected at the time services are provided, and our team will review payment expectations with you before your visit if you have any questions.

  • Medical records and vaccine certificates can be requested through our online forms or by contacting the clinic. Requests are processed during normal business hours, and some may require additional review time.

  • Anesthesia allows for a thorough and safe dental cleaning, including below the gumline, where dental disease often occurs. It also helps keep your pet comfortable and still during the procedure, reducing stress and allowing our team to provide proper care.

  • Pre-surgical blood work helps us better understand your pet’s overall health and identify any underlying concerns that could affect anesthesia or recovery. This information allows us to tailor care to your pet’s individual needs and improve safety.

  • Some vaccines are considered core, while others are recommended based on your pet’s lifestyle, age, and risk factors. Our veterinarians will discuss vaccine options with you and help determine what’s most appropriate for your pet.

  • Emergencies may include sudden illness, injury, difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, or other urgent changes in your pet’s condition. If you believe your pet is experiencing an emergency, please contact the clinic immediately or seek emergency veterinary care.

The only bad question is the one not asked. We’re here to help.
